Mornings at the Museum: A Mat Pilates Experience in La Jolla

Pilates Movement joined Mornings at the Museum, a signature mat Pilates class in La Jolla led by Cameron and held inside the iconic Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego.

In collaboration with Novodia Wellness, the event brought together movement, art, and community in one of San Diego’s most inspiring cultural spaces.

It was everything modern wellness should be — intentional, elevated, and connected.

Mat Pilates in La Jolla — Elevated Beyond the Studio

At Pilates Movement, we believe Pilates should be more than a workout. It should be an experience.

Practicing mat Pilates inside MCASD created a setting unlike any traditional studio class. Surrounded by contemporary art and coastal light, participants moved through a thoughtfully programmed full-body sequence emphasizing: Deep core activation. Breath-driven movement. Postural alignment. Strength, length, and control

Cameron led the class with precision and clarity, delivering a challenging yet accessible session designed for both seasoned practitioners and those newer to Pilates in San Diego. The atmosphere was focused, calm, and powerful.

A Community Wellness Event in San Diego

This event was more than just a Pilates class — it was a community gathering.

Partnering with Novodia Wellness allowed us to create a curated wellness event in La Jolla that blended culture, movement, and connection. Attendees stayed afterward to connect, meet new faces, and share in the collective energy of the morning.

Events like this reflect our larger mission: to expand Pilates beyond the studio walls and into the broader San Diego wellness community.
