Cameron Kotch - Pilates Movement Founder + Owner | Pilates Instructor

Cameron is a certified Pilates Practitioner with Body Arts and Science International (BASI). She holds certificates in BASI’s education courses: Comprehensive Pilates and Mat, Pilates for Injuries and Pathologies, Ultimate Advanced Pilates, Mentor Pilates, Master 1 and Master 2 Honors. Cameron was prompted by a feel-good moment in a Pilates session, and was struck with the desire “to always feel this way”- strong, connected, grounded, and very much open and alive. A San Diego native she grew up as a competitive equestrian and currently leads an active lifestyle. Cameron instructs Pilates classes + private sessions.

  • Anika is a certified Pilates Practitioner with Body Arts and Science International (BASI). She holds certificates in BASI’s education courses: Comprehensive Pilates and Mat, Mentor Pilates, Master 1 and Master 2 Honors. She is a San Diego native and when she’s not at the studio she enjoys surfing and golf.  Her classes will challenge you. Anika instructs classes + private sessions.

  • Anya began her ballet training in Belarus and at the age of 9 she entered Brest State Ballet School. After graduation, she performed professionally for 10 years before coming to New York. Inspired by the benefits of Pilates, Anya studied the Pilates method and in 2011 was certified through Power Pilates NYC, where she taught and studied with master teachers. Anya has been teaching at the Jazz Summer Program at the Joffrey Ballet School since 2011.

    Anya is as passionate about Pilates as she is about ballet. Her training enables her to understand the body and encourages her clients to progress. She approaches each client as an individual and is able to help people of all ages improve in strength and mobility. Anya likes to challenge her students and guide them in accessing their full potential. She believes that everybody, from an athlete to an artist, can practice Pilates. Movement not only helps to connect mind and body, but also brings the benefits of mindfulness into different aspects of our life.

  • Cathleen Murakami has specialized in the Pilates method for over 30 years, owned her own studio, SynergySystems Fitness, for 20 years and has been teaching the GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® methods since 2004. For 9 years she led the Pilates and GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® department at the world-renowned Rancho La Puerta Spa & Resort. Currently, in addition to working with clients at Pilates Movement, Cathleen is immersed in offering a BMS (Breath, Movement, Sound) experience via the merging of GYROKINESIS®, Meditative Breathing, and Sound Healing.   • Chloe is a certified Pilates Instructor from San Diego, driven by her background in collegiate sports. She is a second generation fitness instructor, educated in over 500 hours of yoga certifications as well. Chloe’s passion for wellness is also integrated in her love for surfing and nutrition.

  • Elma is a certified Pilates Practitioner with Live Love Pilates. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences and Doctor of Pharmacy degree. She has a passion for healing, health and wellness. Enlightened by the many benefits of Pilates and love of learning, she was encouraged to teach and share these experiences so others too can feel strong, confident and self aware. When she is not practicing Pilates, she enjoys the beach, surfing, snowboarding and traveling. Elma instructs Pilates classes + private sessions.

  • Inés is Live + Love Pilates certified on all apparatuses with a specialization in the Pilates Suspension Method. She discovered her passion for fitness at a young age while playing tennis. Pilates became a crucial tool in her fitness journey, serving as effective rehabilitation. Drawing from her personal experience, she is devoted to ensuring that everyone in her Pilates classes can reap the same benefits. Recently achieving certification as a Flow Lift instructor, Ines is driven to further her wellness education and share her expertise.

  • Jen is a Stott certified Pilates Practitioner, advanced level II.  She instructs with consistent attention to posture and form, and teaches an awareness of the body that encourages mindfulness and presence during movement. Her compassionate approach with her clients allows space for self-healing in many powerful ways. Her intention is always to create an environment that leaves clients feeling more grounded and peaceful than when they walked in. Jen instructs private Pilates sessions + classes.

  • Liz is a certified Pilates Practitioner and a former studio founder and owner of three studios in Orange County. She lives an active lifestyle and loves to workout. She instructs classes + privates.

  • Jess is a certified Pilates Practitioner with Power Pilates. She began teaching in New York city as well as managing a premier studio. Living in San Diego for the past few years Jess has established a love for the beach, mindfulness and perfecting her Pilates expertise. Her classes will have you focused. Jess instructs classes + private sessions.

  • Kirsten is a comprehensively certified Pilates Practitioner with Balanced Body. She began her Pilates practice/education with Julian Littleford at his studio in Del Mar. Kirsten taps into her background teaching yoga to create class programing that combines breath, mindfulness and proper alignment with the Pilates repertoire. When not practicing Pilates, she’s usually at or near the beach. She instructs classes + privates.

  • Paulette is a certified Pilates practitioner with The Physical Mind Institute via Maria Leone at Bodyline Studio. Growing up in Hawaii, she enjoyed surfing and riding horses competitively. She has a degree from SDSU in Kinesiology with an emphasis in pre-physical therapy. She believes Pilates is for everyone and is dedicated to creating a program to help each person benefit from this workout. Paulette instructs classes + privates.

  • Suzanne completed Julian Littleford's Pilates Certification program and taught alongside Julian at his studio. She received her Pilates Method Alliance Certification and worked beside physical therapists at San Diego Sports Medicine's Pilates Wellness Center. She is educated on a variety of sports injuries, and special populations and continues her education courses through the National Pilates Certification Program. She strives to bring attention to form, alignment before movement for a deeper overall awareness to her clients bodies. She grew up as a dancer, competed as a rower enjoys living an active lifestyle.Suzanne instructs classes + private sessions.
